The Sojourn Care Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(C) 3 organization that provides assistance to hospice patients and families in need. Insurance doesn't cover every household necessity, and our Foundation can put food in the refrigerator and gas in the tank. The Foundation also ensures that every patient can have a proper funeral ritual and a final resting place. Last year, the Foundation was able to assist many hospice patients with their pressing needs.  We provided a proper burial to one patient who had no family or friends.  We bought clothing for an impoverished gentleman who had nothing to wear.  We paid for a party and family photographs for a young dying mother who, with no photographs in the house, feared that her small children might forget her.
